The rolling laptop stand is can be pushed anywhere in the house. If you want to relocate it in front of the TV, or in the bedroom or kitchen, all of those are possible. The stands are usually designed to have openings in the back where cables can connect, allowing you cable or DSL internet access as well as a place for the power chord to thread through if you need to charge your battery.
Usually the rolling laptop stand models are designed to be portable and multipurpose, fitting all laptop sizes. Of course you will want to check the specifics of your laptop’s size before you commit to a rolling laptop stand. Some laptop stands also come with another surface which spins out and is capable of holding a printer. These stands are also capable of holding something like a fax machine, if desirable.
Though they are called “laptop” computers, actually placing these devices on your lap can be a bit cumbersome. Doing so inhibits you from standing up, and many laptops tend to heat up with use. Furthermore, this positioning doesn’t allow full extension of your arms as you type. Throw in the fact that some people greatly prefer to use a standard mouse rather than a touchpad, and the benefits of something like a rolling laptop stand become apparent.
