Notebook batteries are what make the laptop computer possible. The whole purpose of a laptop computer is to be portable and without a battery this would be much harder to accomplish. These batteries are easily rechargeable and can provide hours of use on one charge.
Notebook batteries will usually need to be replaced every few years. As the batteries wear out they do not hold a charge as well, and the available work time per charge is dramatically reduced. Fortunately, replacement batteries are available through most computer retailers.
Notebook batteries need to be used. Proper maintenance for most batteries includes allowing it to discharge completely every now and then. The batteries require that the electrons inside be kept moving in order to keep working.
